Abstract:
The study is conduct to analyze the impact of employee creativity on employee performance in the project by studying the moderating impact of training and development. The research considers the IT industry in Rawalpindi and Islamabad Pakistan for the survey. The study is a quantitative research and a survey is conducted for collecting the data. Adaptive questionnaire is used as a research tool for the study. A sample size of 200 is selected and 200 questionnaires are distributed to the employees working in IT firms in Pakistan. A latest version of SPSS is used and different statistical techniques are used to conduct the research. Different statistical tests are used such as descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, factor analysis, regression analysis and moderating analysis. By using statistical technique, it is revealed that the employee creativity has a significant positive impact on employee performance in the project. In addition, the findings also show that training and development does not moderate the relationship between the employee creativity (independent variable) and the employee performance in project (dependent variable). The research implies that organizations should motivate their employees to improve their creative thinking skill in order to boost their performance
