Abstract:
This dissertation examined how Human Resource Practices can apply in the Construction Industry. The main purpose of this research is to explore the awareness of Human Resource Practices among the Construction Companies and their employees in Pakistan. Human Resource Management is a common term most of the organization used for the Human Resource activities in different levels as discussed in the literature, and it is also used by different organizations for the organizational development in terms of quality and profitability as well as described in the literature. With the growing use of information technology the market has been introduced new and advanced methods of Human Resource development by different organization like the telecom sector, which used this concept in different levels, either for the personal development of the employees or the organization or project specific development. But the problem is the Construction industry is lacking in this concept and there is a gap of these Human Resource Practices in this sector. The qualitative research methodology used for this dissertation, and for this purpose the in-depth interviews were conducted from the respondents. The respondents were the representatives of different companies of Construction Industry. After the interviews the findings are drawn on the basis of discussion and analysis and in result different themes were emerged. After the analysis concluded this research on the basis of the summary of the findings. Then there are future recommendations written for the political parties
