Rise of china and its implications on south Asia

Abstract

People’s Republic of China is located in the eastern part of the Asian continent. With the changing dynamics of international system in 21st century, the role of China, regionally and globally is important and leading. China’s rise and how it is evolving strategically, economically, militarily and politically has affected the present international system. The transformation of this country into a modern leading nation can be traced back from the policies adopted by China in the 20th century.Deng Xiaoping’s economic reform policies, opening up to the world, embracing globalization were the key starters which have led China to have an influencing position in the 21’st century
