dc.description.abstract In this research the primary focus is to understand the nature of Russian hybrid warfare in contemporary Middle East. Though Hybrid war techniques, an unconventional, asymmetric warfare has been in practice since centuries but is revised form especially with advent of globalization and scientific technology this notion of warfare has evolved with leaps and bounds threatening the traditional security ideologue of world. Russian hybrid warfare alarmed the world in ‘color revolution’ in Georgia 2008 but the threat to U.S seem likely with the Crimean Annexation of 2014 and rigging of U.S presidential election 2016. Russian hybrid warfare has swept in Middle East after the infamous ‘Arab Spring’ 2011, the use of discreet warfare tactics in countering the enemy, aiding the proxies, working aside from governmental presentation all has accelerated the international concern, as this type of warfare is not thoroughly documented in international law. Russian interests are reflected in Syria, with consolidating Bashar Al Assad regime as the famously intervened in Middle East after forty years under the narrative of ‘fighting terrorism’ in 2015, to which the results have been contradictory. In this research another important element is predicted that how the Russian hybrid installment in Middle East along with revised foreign policy under the presidency of Putin in light of ‘Gerasimov Doctrine(2013) threatens the U.S hegemonic status in the region. This research elaborates the blunders of U.S foreign policy towards this region that paved way for Russian discreet domination en_US
