dc.description.abstract The demand for high speed data communication and seamless user connectivity is increasing day by day which lead towards the development of new next generation communication services. Wi-Fi, the most popular wireless networking technology uses radio waves as medium for transmission. However, it has a constraint over security, reliability, speed and range of transmission. Li-Fi addresses the issues faced by RF technologies and providing a high-speed communication which is tremendously faster than Wi-Fi. Furthermore, it is also considered an ideal candidate for secure communication. In this project, we present a Li-Fi transceiver system based communication technique which is aimed for data communication using visible light. In addition to this, this project also provides the data processing techniques like Modulation, conversions required for the specific data for both transmitter and receiver using the LiFi techniques. The main objective of our project is to achieve the possible data rate (in Mbps) from a Simple Hardware, communication range from 10-15meters en_US
