dc.description.abstract Now a day’s lot of traffic accidents are happening in world, mostly caused by drivers violating traffic rules or by over speeding. This project is the inspiration to reduce the human casualties occur due to the violation of traffic rules or over speeding. like always the speed of the car is controlled by the driver unless or until the comes with the cruise control system. Speed of the car can be controlled by reading the speed sign boards. Our proposed solution comprises of speed limiting sign board reading, car speed monitoring and speed controlling. Due to this driver will not be available to cross the speed limit. We make our system embedded so it can install inside of car easily by using a raspberry pi. The raspberry pi act as the main processing unit and we use a camera module to take input and give it to the raspberry pi en_US
