Abstract:
Road accidents are an everyday occurrence all around the world. With the increase in vehicles the probability of accidents happening is increasing. The most damage done by any road accident is to human life in comparison to financial damage. The financial loss can be recovered with the passage of time but the human life that has been lost in an accident can never be recovered. Whenever a car accident, no matter what the extent fatal full stop once an accident has occurred, as the victim's life hangs in the balance. The incident of death occurring while awaiting the arrival of rescue services however may substantially be reduced. To save human life and provide first aid as soon as possible is the first priority for any emergency response institution, the problem with this is that it is not necessary that the help reaches on time. Catering to the reduction in the delay of response time and the subsequent timely dispatch of rescue for ambulance services, the emergency response system (ERS) aims to detect the occurrence of an accident and notify the vehicles (owners relative, rescue response services and the police) through a text message of the accident location the collision impact of the vehicle is detected by a force sensitive resistor which upon receiving a certain amount of pressure limit it will turn on the system. As soon, as the system is on a message, is sent to the nearest hospital and police station, as well as the current location of the crash site, also a live video feed showing the real-time condition of the victim. The message is sent via GSM module and the current location is retrieved through a GPS module and live video feed is sent through a camera mounted inside the vehicle.
