dc.description Supervised by Mr.Asim Altaf Shah en_US
dc.description.abstract The project proposes a solution to the problems faced by the emergency vehicles and the car driver due to traffic and primitive ways of controlling traffic. The project is divided into two phases; The Emergency vehicle priority and Traffic density control. In the Emergency Vehicle Priority, the proposed system uses a mobile app, integrated to the Google Maps and Firebase, to locate the emergency vehicle and the number of traffic signals in the route. The traffic signals in the route are switched to green in order to reach the destination at the earliest. In the Traffic Density Control, the proposed system uses image processing algorithm for the detection and counting of congestion of cars on traffic signals. The traffic signal where the density is greatest is given an increased time slot to reduce congestion. en_US
