dc.description.abstract POWER PRODUCTION: ENERGY STRATEGY Analysis of power production methods to seek low cost of electricity production for Pakistan Fossil fuels are getting extinct. Near is the time when Lords of the World will keep the resource with them . The poor nations would not be able to afford it. Many of activities are dependant upon oil. In Pakistan hundreds of such activates are performed which use oil as a fuel. Electricity power production is one of them . Imagine having very high cost of oil, which could be used as a celebration item, soon, that would be the oil's future in Pakistan . The hi-rising oil prices due extinction of oil from the planet earth is the sole cause of this tragedy . Electricity power production through thermal method that uses oil as a fuel produces costly electricity. While it can be done with the hydel power electricity production. The good thing is that our country profile also supports this idea. There are five rivers running in Pakistan, which can be used for hydel electricity power production . Dams can be created that would not only support hydel electricity power production but also help irrigation. Being an agro-cultural economy what more can benefit, fertile lands and sunny environment, than water? If we look at the environmental issue of pollution hydel power generation has no waste products, while thermal power generation uses oil that throws away wasted poisonous gases into the atmosphere. Basically the thesis is about that. It describes us how and why hydel power generation is better and beneficial for Pakistan. It tells us the news and articles, books and publications and views of people and researches in the research journals and news clips and articles off the Inter net that reveal the very truth of the future of oil and thermal power generation and its feasibility of existence, especially in Pakistan. IV Another thing is that the thesis proves is that when Pakistan is rich in water resource and nevers that flow throughout the country, then why use the costly method of electricity power production, and why not hydel power production . Pakistan's economy is stabilizing but not in equal terms when compared with the debt we have, with the increasing poverty we have, with the budget we have. It would be adding cost to more cost when using oil to produce electricity power production. To give a buffer to Pakistan's economy we would need to cut down costs, and hydel electricity power production energy strategy would reduce cost. All it needs is proper planning, scheduling and approval by the Government of Pakistan. Similar researches were found for India, Bangladesh , Nepal, Europe, and America. Based on the success rate there, it is therefore recommended by the researcher to practically implement hydel electricity power generation in Pakistan . Hyde) electricity power production is the best way to produce electricity, the most safe and cheap way to power the nation ; it is environment friendly and is applicable in Pakistan . en_US
