dc.description.abstract | It is said that the youth of today are the future of our country. But is this youth capable enough for running our future? A big question mark . Are these youngsters to be blamed for this or not? This research is based on their story that what actually are the problems that our youth or students are facing today. Naturally discussing all of them was not possible but The Researcher tried to name and discusses the main ones in this report. The researcher is a student herself and can better illustrate that what are the problems faced by them. The respondents of the study were students only. The study tried focusing on the views of students about the present educational system, what do they think that what are the main reasons for these constraints and challenges and how they can be removed. Naturally a person whose future is at stake can better define a problem by it and here the sufferers are the students. The student's side of story is totally different of what is actually assumed. Study was carried out in 10 universities of Islamabad among different students of HSSC, Bachelors and Masters. Like according to some students the lecture timings are too short but then it is not for a specific university because the survey was conducted in universities all over Islamabad. Fees paid by the students are not fair and then one of the main reasons for declining standards of education is politicization and commercialization of education. Then one more reason of students de motivation is job competition in the market which is not based on skills but more on personal contacts and unfair means which naturally lessen the value of degree and then automatically the quality of education is not the same. | en_US |
