dc.description.abstract What follows in this document is a study on the investment climate of Pakistan, comprising of an in-depth look at the domestic as well as the foreign investment climate in the Country. The foreign investment climate boasts what a nation from the international community has to do in order to invest in this Country, with the local looking at what a domestic investor would opt for or decide in relation to investing. The study aims to bring into perspective the entire subject of investment from a present as well as historical point of view. The study has been conducted using secondary data compiled from various sources, mentioned at the conclusion of this study. Defined are the various investment opportunities existing at a local as well as an international scale, the level of investors confidence, the acts conducted to promote the same, the security of the investment, along with over viewing what the investment climate in Pakistan really is all about. Savings and investment , as evident, is a topic that has been neglected to quite an extent in relation to domestic investment. Another facet of this study is to establish a sound relation between savings and investment in the Pakistani economy, and as to how it would be of benefit to the Country as a whole. In conclusion, what is to be added is the fact that the student hopes that this study will help enable readers to better understand the topic so covered, and will prove to be of some guidance to them in the near future. en_US
