Abstract:
This project is about export potential of surgical companies of Sialkot, DAR EXPO and SURGI CRAFT. The focus of this study is to analyze their management performance, quality performance and complete manufacturing process that has been balanced to produce same level of products at every stage resulting in decreased cost per piece. The machinery & construction costs for balancing have also been calculated. In addition, the new layout of the production department has also been made according to the requirements. Researcher conducts the sensitivity analysis, situational analysis of foreign market for proposing the best place for exporting the surgical instruments. This project is not just about increasing the production capacity and decreasing the cost per piece, but it also includes the identification of foreign market and the market analysis for the new foreign markets to increase the sales according to the increased production. In addition, the complete Financial Analysis of the firm has been done to see the performance of the company. This whole study applicable with all the assumptions provided. If the company implements these recommendations, this will not only decrease their cost of production but will also increase their sales and the profit margin. The financial analysis clearly shows an increase in the financial positions of the company. So in my view, the company must undergo these changes, because it does not cost enough. Only a short term loan from the bank will enable the company to undergo these changes and this will not only increase its profit but will also enable the company to compete in this competitive environment.
