dc.description.abstract Smartphones are becoming the preferred companion for users compared to desktops or laptops. Knowing that smart phones are most popular with users over the age of 26, using smart phones to speed up the participation of university faculty can save lecture time and strengthen the educational process. This project includes the interaction of teacher and student with the system that will be built. We will be allowing teacher to generate a QR code for every days attendance. This will allow a separate login and authorization to the teacher which will not be accessible to the student. The core functionality of the system me will be that all students will have this system access and their profiles maintained. All they will have to do is to login themselves in the application through face recognition and two step verification method. When the Google authenticator generates the QR attendance code, they will raise••their cell phones and market themselves present by scanning the QR code in their profile. This will allow both students and teachers to save time en_US
