Abstract:
Individuals, organizations and many special offices are mostly dependent on the CCTV cameras as well as physical security. CCTV videos are very important to keep a record of past days. These can be helpful when an activity is missed to watch on while it was happening but can be extracted from CCTV records. These records can be ranged from 10 to 30 days of videos. It is good way to maintain security but as record of 10 to 30 days can only be kept. It is a good time period but what if we need a record back before 30 days? I made a desktop application which will work on CCTV video and will analyse it to make space for more record instead of formatting previous data. It will process on video and will detect human movements only else will be ignored and the useless data will be considered as one still frame instead of whole useless video. This will save much more space for new data to be recorded. It will also detect objects suspicious activities such as smoking, fighting or fire in the room. These activities will be separated from the videos and will be saved in separate folder. This application will be helpful to many individuals and organizations who are very conscious to security. It will let them preserve data for more than normal days and can have record of suspicious activities separately
