| dc.description.abstract | The present study aimed at exploring the status of the agricultural sector in Pakistan. Pakistan is an agrarian economy and in spite of the fact that our country is blessed with a galaxy of climate, soil condition and irrigation water, it is faced with the problem of low agricultural productivity and is not self sufficient to meet its own requirements. The qualitative as well as quantitative methods was employed to analyze the importance of investments in agriculture and the findings showed that if proper measures are taken there are tremendous possibilities to increase productivity. | en_US |
