Android Based Academic Learning and Information Framework (ALIF)

Abstract

Android based Academic Learning as well as Information Framework (ALIF) basically allows teachers and students to share study materials, announcements about assignments, quizzes, makeup classes , online assignments submission, user’s communication, notification system, makeup classes, it also provide the information’s about Events. Previous such type of systems has focused on how these systems deliver and manage study content with little concern for how student’s constructivist learning can be encouraged and facilitated. Faculty can manage their subject’s materials and other course related document. An overview of course proceedings can be seen with a quick look and the whole semester activities. The system has been built with Html, CSS, J-query, Bootstrap (Front End), PHP, MYSQL Database (Back End) and Java for mobile application. At the time of deployment, this project only supports direct input through android smart phones. However, this was still limited since the App only supports android interaction at the moment. The next release of the project will allow people to use this on their IOS phones.
