Abstract:
The aim of this quantitative research paper is to investigate the relationship and effect of supplier relation management, strategic sourcing and on procurement performance of sugar mills of Pakistan. Experiential research has been done through self-administered questionnaire survey response from 350 procurement personnel of sugar mills of Pakistan on SRM, SS as independent and PP as a dependent variable. The results accepted the effects of Supplier relationship and strategic on procurement performance. Variables have a positive relationship with them. Those who are using strategic sourcing are enjoying the improved procurement performance. The other results show that those who are spending time and cost in building a relationship with supplier saving the investment cost on other new parties in case of termination of contracts between the existing supplier. The goal of using the tests such as descriptive, reliability, regression, and correlation to check the significance, acceptance and relation along with that the different types of responses. The research contributes theoretically and practically.
