The impact of using hybrid transportation model on supply chain

Abstract

In this research work the main concepts is to find out the impact of using hybrid Transportation model on the supply chain. Transportation is now known as back bone of the supply chain with the innovation and development among the different countries different transportation platform are now available for them in order to perform their desired function. Now day’s different companies have different options available to them for the transportation of their goods or anything from one place to other. Two main factors that companies review before making the decision regarding the use of model for the transportation includes the cost that company have to pay and the performance of the supply chain. Now days we are living in competitive world where customers have many other options available for them that means lot of competition is available in the market so now companies make sure before making any decisions regarding the transportation that they should achieve the both main objective. The transportation model looks easy to deal but it consist of many risk and the calculations which companies calculate before developing the model. Companies have to deal with different products that of different nature, volume and other factors that they have to transport either from their location or to collect from different location they can’t use same transportation model for the all type of goods or Products .The main objective of this study to find the Impact of using hybrid Transportation model on supply chain. The other objective includes the exploration of the Factor which affects the process and then further on test their reliability and other test in order to draw conclusion regarding the factors. Like all other decision in operation the Transportation decision also consist of high risk that mainly play vital role in the Supply Chain.
