dc.description.abstract The purpose of this project was to investigate the teacher's perception of modern teaching methods revolution. The thesis represents the background, development and perception about the modern teaching methods being applied in the field. The research also explored the new concepts and ideas being practiced by teachers for improving the involvement and performances of students. The study was conducted in a natural environment with minimal interference from the researcher . The respondents were chosen randomly and the sample size was 60. They were sub divided into two main groups named as private and public sector. The respondents were all teachers from educational institutes. The response patterns of teachers were compared by percentages for the purpose of descriptive analysis. Discussion on the obtained data enabled the researcher to come up with fruitful conclusions. The study concludes that modern teaching methods are not being used at a large scale in most institutes. However modern methods are vital for increasing teacher's output. It affects the quality of education and enhances the student's interest. Teachers should see it as a positive step towards betterment of students and quality of education. Federal directorate of education should also encourage the teachers to use modern teaching methods. en_US
