dc.description.abstract It is a well-known fact that the sale of any product is directly dependent on the marketing and advertising of the product. On a business platform the race for introducing new and innovative methods of marketing has existed since the very beginning. How you present a product to a customer can make all the difference. The technique presented in this project blends technology in the domain of marketing. The international market has adapted and profited from this technique in the last decade. The project aims to introduce this new method of marketing to the Pakistani markets. In this project, Augmented Reality, a technology through which the view of real world environment is augmented by computer generated objects, is being used on an android platform. On the packing of every product, a marker image will be printed. A computer generated 3D model of the product will be displayed on the screen of the android device whenever the user will scan the marker image with the application’s camera. en_US
