| dc.description.abstract | User-Centered Chemistry Lab is an Android application, which electronically simulates chemistry labs on an android device. This application aimed to help high school students and aid them in learning concepts of science. The focus of this project is on the experiments which normally are not allowed in labs due to the reasons like non-availability of support staff, dangerous chemicals , non-availability of chemicals, etc. In this application, users are able to perform Nitration of Isopropanol. The output is hot spray, smoke and if not done carefully then may result in a blast. The application can be used on any android device ,e.g. tablets and mobile phones. Tablets and mobile phones capture gestures of user through finger touch, mobile tilt and then application translates these gestures and performed related action. In this way learning is safe, interesting and enhanced. | en_US |
