| dc.description.abstract | Purpose The purpose of this study is to see whether there is a positive relationship between Career Indecision and Anxiety. Also, whether Meaning in Life has a mediating role between Career Indecision and Anxiety. Methodology & Design The research methodology is quantitative and the data for this study has been collected through a close ended questionnaire, after which the data has been transformed so as to draw inferences. The approach adopted for this study is the Deductive approach. Findings The findings of the study were that there was a positive relationship between Career Indecision and Anxiety; and that Meaning in Life mediates the relationship between Career Indecision and Anxiety. Limitations The study takes into account the population from just one city, which is Karachi. So the implications of this research may not be the same for other cities in Pakistan. Also, items in the questionnaire were too many, which made many people hesitant to fill the survey. The reliance on the convenience sampling technique may have affected the reliability of the results Recommendations It is recommended that the experience of meaning that one attaches to his or her life be inculcated in the career decision process because it does contribute to the career decision making ability of a student. | en_US |
