Abstract:
Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to highlight the significant effects of identifying
and reporting malpractices in medical institutes of Karachi Pakistan.
Methodology & Design: A reliable, well designed and structured questionnaire was used to
collect the data from different hospitals in Karachi, about 255 responses were collected for
the data analysis.
Findings: The first two hypothesis were about the impact of independent variable with
dependent variable which were accepted, whereas hypothesis three and four determined the
moderating effect of organizational commitment on the relationship of independent variable
with dependent variable, hypothesis three was accepted and four was rejected.
Limitations: As being a student it was difficult to collect data because many companies were
unwelcoming towards students and don’t entertain such activities, secondly explain the
concept of whistle-blowing was a task in its self a people were not familiar with it.
Recommendations: On the basis of the findings of the study it is observed that there is a
need to create awareness about the concept of whistle blowing, because many people were
unaware of whistle-blowing.
