Abstract:
Purpose: This research has been conducted with the purpose to identify organizational
justice in performance appraisal system and work performance. Elements of demographics
used in this research include gender, age, marital status and academic qualification.

Methodology & Design: Research instrument for primary data collection is survey in which
population of 450 working people in Karachi were targeted out of which 431 responded to
the survey.

Findings: Organizational justice in performance appraisal system has a significant impact on
work performance of the employees and performance appraisal satisfaction has a mediating
effect on organizational justice to enhance work place performance of the employees in the
workplace.
Limitations: Due to lack of time questionnaire was sent online to the targeted population.
This research cannot be generalized because most of the respondents are young working
and women.
Recommendations: In order to get the satisfactory and factual picture of relationship among
transparency of justice within an organization and its performance appraisal system a larger
sample size is required considerably. Hence, for the upcoming studies, we recommend that
the studies in future must be detailed based upon organizational justice perception in order to
ascertain. Hence, for the upcoming studies, we suggest that the future research should be
detailed based upon organizational justice perception and to ascertain the satisfaction related
to work performance of an employee.
