Abstract:
Purpose: The purpose of this research is to find out the effects of various corporate social responsibility
dimensions on organizational effectiveness at pharmaceutical industries of Pakistan. The
impact of employee wellbeing, organizational trust and employee engagement on
organizational effectiveness has been studied.
Methodology: Using deductive approach, hypotheses were created after a detailed review of the available
literature, followed by data collection by means of a questionnaire. Questionnaire was used to
gather primary quantitative data from a sample of 160 respondents, selected through non
probability convenience sampling technique. Statistical tools Pearson’s Correlation and
Regression Analysis tests were used to analyze the data that was collected with the help of
software SPSS, version 20.
Findings: Results of this study has indicated that all three hypotheses are accepted which shows that
there is positive relation between employee well-being and organizational effectiveness,
organizational trust and organizational effectiveness and employee engagement and
organizational effectiveness.
Implications: This research would serve as a guide for organizations informing them about the various
measures that they can take to further enhance organizational effectiveness. It would also
provide guidance in adopting CSR initiative in a much better way resulting in benefits for the
external and internal shareholders and the community at large.
