dc.description.abstract Well logs (gamma ray, sp, resistivity, density porosity and sonic) of Meyal-01 well were obtained from the Land Mark Resources with prior approval of the Directorate General Of Petroleum Concession for carrying out this study for the hydrocarbon exploration of the study area. The petrophysical study has been carried out in Meyal-01 well, in this study we applied the techniques of wireline logging. In this study the Sakesar limestone is evaluated, which has potential reserves. Five zones of Sakesar limestone focused for the evaluation purpose, two out of five zones showed good reservoir potential for which detailed petrophysical evaluation has been carried out. en_US
