The influence of the moderator Human resource management (HRM) practices including selective hiring, extensive training, contingent compensation and job security was checked. We collected our primary data in the form of questionnaires from various branches of the banks of Islamabad Pakistan and our research for the purpose of gathering finding and the conclusion will depend on the results gathered by the responses made by the respondents. The data collected for the purpose of this research was one time; hence the time horizon was cross sectional as we distributed 230 questionnaires only once and received 186 responses subsequently. We used statistical software SPSS for the purpose of the analysis of our data and to conduct the tests of descriptive statistics, correlation, regression and reliability analysis. The Cronbach alpha was greater than the benchmark for all the variables, so our data was reliable. Our correlation values indicated that tacit knowledge sharing has a positive impact on organizational performance in the banking sector. en_US
