| dc.description.abstract | Generally our aim was to understand the tectonics and geology of the Kalar Syedan area along with the interpretation procedure of migrated seismic sections to check out the subsurface structures that may be a possible lead for hydrocarbons. Migrated seismic lines PR-92-19, PR- 92-20, PR-92-24, PR-92-26 of Kalar Syedan area were obtained from the Land Mark Resources with prior approval from the Directorate General of Petroleum Concession for carrying out this study. Line PR-92-19 is trending N-S while other lines are trending E-W. Three reflectors Kamlial (R1), Chorgali (R2) and Basement (R3) were marked to investigate the geological structure present in the area. To investigate the lateral and vertical variations of velocity and Time and depth contour Maps were generated. | en_US |
