Impact of Supply Chain Agility Execution on Hospitality Industry of Twin Cities of Pakistan

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of supply chain agility execution on hospitality industry working in the twin cities of Islamabad / Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The hospitality industry plays an important role in expanding opportunities in an economy, because it is universal for the lives of peoples, because there are many organizations working for the purpose in this industry. However, the hospitality industries in the twin cities are facing tough competition, and the graph of their performances has been discredited day by day as the worldwide brands of the same sectors now doing their business in Pakistan and the twin cities. In order to examine the effect of supply chain agility on the performance of hospitality industry in twin cities, different statistics have been applied to the data collected from the surveys and questionnaire. The study demonstrates that supply chain agility has a positive and powerful impact on the performance of twin cities' hospitality industries, because the industries that work here are successful in applying their concept of agility to their customers when they are very eager to create value for their systems. The study concluded that the performance of the hospitality industry in twin cities could improve their performance if they successfully implemented the concept of agility in their supply chain. The study suggested that the hospitality industry should take radical steps to frame the complaints and meet the needs of their customers
