The Role Of Supply chain Management dimensions in influencing organizational performance and supply chain performance in banking industry of Islamabad

Abstract

This study is conducted to identify the influential role that supply chain management dimensions play towards influencing organizational performance and supply chain performance in banking industry of Pakistan. This study has represented supply chain management dimensions with cooperation between supply chain, communication between supply chain, dependence between supply chain, and trust between supply chain, and considered as independent variables. Whereas, organizational performance and supply chain performance are considered as dependent variables. In this research, the major emphasis was on proving the significant relationship amongst supply chain management dimensions (independent variables) and organizational performance & supply chain performance (dependent variables) in banking industry of Pakistan. To prove this relationship, a survey has been conducted through a structured questionnaire regarding this literature, in which supply chain members associated with the banking industry of Pakistan have been requested to share their experiences regarding supply chain management dimensions and their role in influencing organizational performance & supply chain performance. Then, to identify the results on data gathered through the responses by the respondents, statistical instruments have been used. Results of the statistical instruments have shown that there exists a significant relationship between supply chain management dimensions and organizational performance & supply chain performance in banking industry of Pakistan. Several statistical instruments used in this study includes descriptive frequencies, reliability, correlation, regression, ANOVA, and coefficients to conduct the analysis within this study. based on the findings, it has been obvious that supply chain management dimensions (cooperation between supply chain, communication between supply chain, dependence between supply chain, and trust between supply chain)has asignificant positiverole in influencingorganizational performance & supply chain performance in banking industry of Pakistan
