dc.description.abstract The objective of the study was to examine the effect of supplier management (supplier assessment, trust-based relationship with supplier, supplier lead time reduction, and logistics integration) on manufacturing performance of textile industry of twin cities of Pakistan. This study has considered supplier assessment, trust-based relationship with supplier, supplier lead time reduction, and logistics integration, representing supplier management as independent variables. Whereas, manufacturing performance is recognized as the dependent variable within this study in order to testify their relationship within textile industry of twin cities of Pakistan. Structured questionnaire based on 5 Likert scale has been the research instruments used by researcher within this study for collection of data from respondents (officials of textile firms of twin cities of Pakistan). The researcher selects a sample size of 200 respondents to represent the entire population. The questionnaire was distributed in officials of textile firms of Rawalpindi and Islamabad by the researcher to gather the data. Collected data was then analyzed through statistical instruments such as correlation and regression by using SPSS Software. Based on the findings, it has been concluded that supplier management (supplier assessment, trust-based relationship with supplier, supplier lead time reduction, and logistics integration) is having significant positive effect on the manufacturing performance of textile industry of twin cities of Pakistan. en_US
