Abstract:
This study is focused mainly on identifying the influence of modem technology (internet banking, mobile banking, electronic banking, and telephone banking) on banks' performance. This study has selected banking industry of Rawalpindi and Islamabad and targeted the employees of banking institutions to collect the data to be used within this study. Research instrument used within this study for the collection of data from respondents has been the structured questionnaire. Various statistical instruments that are used primarily to analyze the relationship between these variables includes descriptive frequencies, reliability, correlation, regression, ANOV A, coefficient etc. The results interpreted through correlation and regression by the help of SPSS software have shown the significant impact that modem technology (internet banking, mobile banking, electronic banking, and telephone banking) has on influencing the operational performance. The findings have explained that modem technology prove highly significant in influencing banks' performance within banking industry of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. It has been found that internet banking, mobile banking, electronic banking, and telephone banking (independent variables) have significant positive influence on operational performance (dependent variable) within banking industry of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
