Abstract:
This study is to examine the impact of strategic sourcing and e-procurement on organizational performance of telecommunication sector in twin cities of Pakistan. In this study, the emphasis was mainly on identifying the influential relationship that exist amongst strategic sourcing, eprocurement and organizational performance. In this study, strategic sourcing and e-procurement are considered as independent variables, whereas organizational performance is considered as a dependent variable. To testify the relationship between variables, telecommunication sector in twin cities of Pakistan has been finalized. For conducting the research, a structured questionnaire has been used through which data has been collected from the officials associated with the telecommunication sector of Pakistan. Based on the data collected from the respondents through structured questionnaire, several hypotheses tests were applied. Some statistical instruments such as descriptive frequencies, reliability, correlation, regression, ANOVA, and coefficients were used by the researcher to conduct this study. Results of the hypotheses tests have clearly indicated that there exists significant relationship betweenstrategic sourcing and e-procurement (independent variables)and organizational performance (dependent variable) of telecommunication sector in twin cities of Pakistan. Finally, it can be said that strategic sourcing and e-procurement tend to have significant positive impacton organizational performance of telecommunication sector in twin cities of Pakistan.
