dc.description.abstract | This study was carried with aim to measure the effective supply chain performance with respect to four factors including Quality information, Quality service, Trust and Commitment, in Pakistan food retail.The strategies and approaches embraced in the present study is to observe and measure the independent and dependent variables. This study surveys 82 food retailers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi and a stepwise multiple regression using SPSS was performed on the data. The reason for existing is to discover the effect of quality information, service quality, trust, and commitment on supply chain performance.Statistical results suggest that trust is an imperative or important factor that prompts the performance of supply chain. Trust influence the performance of supply chain in Pakistan where the positive influence of trust was found on performance. Besides, it was revealed that service quality as another important factor to make supply chain performance more effective in Pakistan. As service quality provided is assumed to be used to make customersand suppliers loyal by providing the better services then others which ultimately results in effective performance of supply chain. Whereas, quality information is also considered to be the important factor influencing supply chain performance in Pakistan. Quality information is used to gather the correct and effective information about the business financial ability along with the customer’s and supplier’s wants and needs which enhance the process of effective supply chain performance. Survey also demonstrated that commitment has also positive influence on supply chain performance. Commitment is based on belief by building long term relationships with the appropriate customers and suppliers that will eventually affect supply chain performance positively.As of today’s, competition is between supply chain. As there are many areas to research, such as how does Customer relationship management, Lean thinking and Strategic Alliance effects the supply chain performance | en_US |
