Abstract:
This study is focused on identifying the impact of inbound logistics on supplier-customer relationship with moderating role of trust in automobile industry of twin cities of Pakistan. This study has selected automobile industry of twin cities of Pakistan and targeted the employees of automobile companies to collect the data to be used within this study. In this study, inbound, quality, and raw materials flow are considered as independent variables, trust is considered as moderating variable, and supplier-customer relationship is considered as dependent variable. Research instrument used within this study for the collection of data from respondents has been the structured questionnaire. Various statistical instruments that are used primarily to analyze the relationship between these variables includes descriptive frequencies, reliability, correlation, regression, ANOVA, coefficient etc. The results interpreted through correlation andregression by the help of SPSS software have shown the significant impact that inbound logistics (inbound, quality, and raw materials flow) and trust has on influencing the supplier-customer relationship. The findings have explained that inbound logistics and trust prove highly significant in influencing supplier-customer relationship in automobile industry of twin cities of Pakistan. Based on the findings, it has been concluded that inbound, quality, and raw materials flow(independent variables) and trust (moderating variable) have significant positive impact on the supplier-customer relationship (dependent variable) in the automobile industry of twin cities of Pakistan.
