Abstract:
This project is aimed at developing an Android application that will take image of printed
timetable as an input, recognize the input and store for future use. The application will notify
user before there class. Therefore, it will ensure that no one will miss his academic activity
(class/quizzes/assignments) unintentionally. During the implementation we used different
libraries which are OpenCv and the recognition engine Tessract. Effortfor developing a capable
android application for digitizing timetable that could work on android based application that
prevents users from the tedious work of manually entering.The intended application will mainly
focus on recognition of digits and characters. Theapplication is planned to work on the picture
which is taken from time table notice board.
