dc.description.abstract Purpose: This study has conducted to determine the role of influence of supply chain management practices on competitiveness and organizational performance of good producing industry in Pakistan focusing on firms operating in Pakistan. The components of supply chain practices focused during study include strategic supplier partnership, customer relationship, level and quality of information sharing and postponement in determination of competitiveness and organizational performance. consumer Research Methodology: The nature of this research study is primary in nature. This study follow cause and effect research approach that is also known as explanatory research approach. The targeted populations of selected research study are supply chain members in supply chain structure of FMCG firms operating in Karachi city. This study followed with convenience sampling technique. The population of this study comprises 384 respondents. This research study used questionnaire as data collection instrument. Regression model has selected as statistical technique. Findings of the Research: The results of present research study revealed that there is significant role of strategic supplier partnership, level and quantity of information sharing and postponement in determination of competitiveness and organizational performance. Customer relationship has foimd only an impact on organizational performance while has found no impact on competitive advantage. It has found through this study selected of supply chain practices determine positive competitiveness andcomponents organizational performance. This study revealed that level and quantity of information sharing along with postponement in determination of competitive advantage. Practical Implications: This study revealed importance of different components of strategic supplier partnership, customer relationship and in determination of competitiveness and supply chain practice such as level of information sharing and postponement izational performance among FMCG firms in Pakistan. en_US
