Picture Tracker

Abstract

The project is an Android app which takes pictures from the device like mobile phone or tab. This is linked with Google maps to give location. The location is given on map through GPS. When a user takes a picture GPS gets its location. In future I will also work on it to make this app able to run on iphone also. More features can also be added in this app. The camera is connected with GPS when user save a picture it is saved in database along with the location which was captured by GPS. On the map pictures are pined and the distance between two pictures is drawn with the help of pole lines classes. The database mostly used in android projects is a SQLite but in this project the database used is called Realm. Choosing this database is because of its more efficiency then the SQLite. In this project further developments are passible and it can also be added up in other Apps as their feature. Soon it will be available at Google play store.
