Blood Donor Information Management Application

Abstract

The application will provide the donor’s information to the blood seekers. The person who wants to donate the blood will register himself and provide his/her information (blood group, contact no, location etc.). The blood seeker can either enter blood group and location to find the list of donors matching the criteria or by using his GPS location. The application will show blood donor location on Google map by the help of GPS. The blood seeker will select the nearby donor and use the Call or SMS feature to contact him. Search based on location will give a list of blood donors sorted according to the distance from the seeker’s location. The list will sortable by time passed since the last donation of blood donor. The system will also show the donors information with universal blood group which is acceptable by all blood groups.
