| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this diligent research is on depositional features of Kamlial Formation and about fractures in slambhar area of Kahuta Rawalpindi. For lithofacies analysis Kamlial Formation was observed keenly from top to bottom. On the basis of sedimentry features, Physical appearance and grain size four lithofacies were observed. A lithological column was drawn using all the above mentioned data and then by analyzing all the factors i.e. grain size distribution, color, contacts and sedimentary features a prescribe conclusion was mention. To depict the deformational events in area fracture analysis was carried out on Kamlial Formation using circle inventory method. Data collected were of two type’s i.e., basic information of fracture length and thickness and fracture orientation data, strike and fracture type. The orientation of fracture was used to find out the past deformation events. Geo rose was used to generate rose diagram and on the basis of that conclusion was made that how many informational events had occurred in past | en_US |
