dc.description.abstract Our study area lies in Kohat sub-basin which is part of upper Indus basin. This area is highly compressional and consists of numerous reverse and thrust faults. The main objectives of this research are to interpret the sub-surface of the area using 2D seismic lines and do petrophysical analysis using the well log data to find prospect hydrocarbon zones. The seismic data provided was used to find the structure present in the sub-surface and time, depth and velocity contours were generated, which confirms the structure present beneath the sub-surface. Log data was used to find the zones which act as reservoir in the well en_US
