Impact of Social Capital and Justice on Supply Chain Collaboration in Retail Industry

Abstract

The aim of this study is to do analysis of the impact of supply chain collaboration on retail industries working in the twin cities of Pakistan Islamabad / Rawalpindi. The Retail industry plays a significant role in the expansion of the opportunities in an economy because it is universal to the health and a life of peoples because there are many organizations that are working within this industry for the purpose. Nevertheless, the retail industries in the twin cities are facing a tuff competition and the graph of their performance is coming down day by day as the global brands of same industries are now bringing their business in Pakistan and in the twin cities they are running successfully. The results we've gathered once analyzing the retail industry and that we came to grasp that the role of the supply chain collaboration has integral part for the profit maximization and the satisfaction of this customer. The detailed study and the information analysis it's proven that the partners who are operating within the network should remember and collaborate with the one another. This study highlights the issues faced by the businesses because of the disturbance within the supply chain collaboration and it stress on the cooperative surroundings with the supplier s and everyone the stake holders who are the part of this network. Supply chain collaboration have a great impact in attainment central company's performance in relations of discussion on numerous resources and a high level of combined decision making between partners. supply chain collaboration plays an important role for building a strong relationship among the partners. and make a good decision for business to increase the probability and performance of the business. Analysis has been developed upon the variables; structural Capital, Cognitive capital, Rational capital, Procedural justice, Distributive Justice and Intractional Justice and their impact on the supply chain collaboration. By conducting analysis and finding out the theory proven that there exists a powerful positive relation with the variables; Cognitive capital, Rational capital, Procedural justice, Distributive Justice and Intractional Justice and supply Chain Collaboration. The results provide the potential associated with the dependent variables and also the independent variable has important relation with the dependent variable. This study indicates that the supply chain collaboration has a positive and a strong impact on the retail industries of twin cities. The study concluded that the performance of the retail industries working in twin cities can enhance their performance if they successfully implement the concept of social capital and justice.
