Abstract:
The objective of the study was that supply chain practices (relationship with suppliers, logistics integration, supplier management, and inventory management) affect the supply chain responsiveness in surgical sector of Pakistan. The processes which are involved in changing crude materials into the completed items, connects the supplier and customers by the help of supply chain. During the study, the independent variables are relationship with suppliers, logistics integration, supplier management, and inventory management, while the dependent variable is manufacturing performance. The population of the study was stakeholders of surgical firms of Pakistan. The researcher selectsa sample size of150 respondents to represent the entire population. During the study, data was collected through a structured questionnaire which was based on 5 Likert scale. The questionnaire was distributed in surgical firms of Pakistan. The data was analyzed through correlation and regression model by using SPSS Software. The study concludes that relationship with suppliers, logistics integration, supplier management, and inventory management representing supply chain practices are having a positive impact over the manufacturing performance.
