Abstract:
Language Translator is a web based application which translates English
language into Roman Urdu or Urdu language word by word or sentence by
sentence. User can enter any desired English word and the application translates
it into Roman Urdu or Urdu. The application basically caters the foreigners in
South Asia region. The application gives the user a module where he/she can
search for the word which has to be translated. The application also facilitates
the users with bookmarks so that user can memorize the important words.
The languages used are C# and asp.net for the implementation of the project and
along with that database of languages has been created too. Microsoft SQL has
been used for database handling. The major ideology behind this application is
to design a translator that helps user in translation of words and increase its
vocabulary. It can be used by wide range of users for convenient
communication with different linguistic backgrounds. It can be used by anyone,
anytime hence increasing its usability to the maximum possible level.
