Abstract:
This research paper sheds light on digitalization within an organization in the context of employee readiness while its main purpose is not only to answer the research question “What is the impact of Employee Readiness for Digitalization in an Organization; rather also proposing a way forward on how to tackle digitalization within their organizations. It mainly summarizes what employee readiness is, its various stages, what exactly encompasses digitalization. This area of research is considered to be of crucial importance as this is the first time a study on employee readiness for digitalization in the context of Pakistan’s Telecom Sector takes place. Moreover, it highlights areas where the organizations can delve deep into while tackling various issues pertaining to it. Furthermore, research data is collected from employees of a particular telecom sector organization gauging impact of employee readiness for digitalization in an organization. Altogether it helps us understand the current situation and the future discourse to adopt. Lastly, this research study is concluded while making recommendations for future researchers and discussing implications for manager of organizations with regards to digitalization
