Impact of Supply Chain Integration on Firm’s Performance of Naveed Caterers

Abstract

This is a case study based on the impact of Supply chain integration On Naveed caterer’s performance. The aim was to find the impact of supply chain integration on performance of Naveed caterers. This is a quantitative study. The target population was 211. Random sampling is used to target the population. Data was collected with the help of questionnaires. Questionnaires were distributed and get filled online as well. Close-ended questions were related to Supplier integration, customer integration, internal integration and firm’s performance. All the data collected was compiled and then the analysis is done through SPSS. The entire hypothesis tested was accepted except one of the hypothesis that got rejected. As per results there was a positive and significant relationship between internal integration and firm’s performance. Another result showed that there was a positive relationship between the customer integration and firm’s performance. The last result was that there was no significant relationship between the supplier integration and firm’s performance. The overall result for the study as a whole showed a positive relationship between supply chain integration and firm’s performance. It was concluded that the customer satisfaction is one of the key indicators of overall firm’s performance. Further recommendations are that the globalization is at its peak, so Naveed carters should use the Automation and IT infrastructure should be inaugurated in different aspects of their supply chain. Moreover the industry should be prepared for the future challenges and it should forecast the growth and changes in the industry. Further researches should be done on barriers that are faced by the firms in the implementation of proper supply chain integration to have a better performance.
