This study tests the impact of E-procurement technology usage on the procurement practices, procurement performance, and information sharing. This study has included E-procurement technology usage as an independent variable, whereas procurement practices, procurement performance, and information sharing as dependent variables. This study is based on insurance industry of Pakistan. Adoption or usage of E-procurement technology is measured through analyzing various insurance institutions of Pakistan. An empirical analysis is done on the insurance managements to identify the procurement practices, procurement performance, and information sharing. Various statistical instruments (such as descriptive frequencies, correlation, regression, ANOVA, coefficients etc.) have been used to figure out the relationship between E-procurement technology usage (independent variable) and procurement practices, procurement performance, and information sharing (dependent variables). Results of these statistical analysis has been interpreted by correlation, regression, level of significance, through a tool known as SPSS Software. It is evident through findings that there exists a strong positive association amongst Procurement technology usage and procurement practices, procurement performance, and information sharing. |
