Abstract:
The rationale of this study is to investigate the effect of interpersonal process effectiveness on the organizational performance also considering moderating role of motivation. In this study, the work performance in organizations especially the health sector rely on the acquisition of emotional intelligence abilities along with the evaluation of work performance. The intention of this study is to establish the function of emotional intelligence in building employee motivation and performance. Emotional intelligence and motivation play essential role in the organizational performance. Managing and understanding emotion in health sector is essential part as with the passage of time employees need to update their skills so that they can perform efficiently and effectively. Many organizations should consider these factors so that they can be successful. This study states that emotional intelligence skills, motivation and organizational performance are essential element and organization should pay attention to these factors and especially the health care sector. The primary information includes that data is gathered through questionnaire and the sampling size is 179 respondents from different health sector. These include Shifah International Hospital, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Combined Military Hospital (CMH). The SPSS software is used to compile the data and to evaluate the results. Obviously the five parts of emotional intelligence recognized by Goleman (1998), to be specific mindfulness, self-control, inspiration, sympathy, social aptitude, are applicable to medical caretakers because they deal with others. The passionate insight involved that feelings are perceived and surfaced. The idea gives comprehension of how the feelings experienced by people influence crafted by the group (Druskat & Wolff 2001). Feelings, along these lines, are not overlooked yet are really recognized and their esteem acknowledged when there is attention to the significance of emotional intelligence.
