dc.description.abstract The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of transformational leadership styles on employee’s performance with mediating role of effective commitment in software industry of Pakistan This study was cross-sectional in nature. The sample size was 214 while total population was 476.Data collection carried out via Questionnaire and data analysis carried out with the use of statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS). The present investigation concluded that transnational leadership has a critical positive effect on employee’s performance in software industry of Pakistan. It is also concluded that affective commitment did not plays the mediating role between transformational leadership and employee’s performance in software industry of Pakistan. Software sector is progressively looking to encourage creativity, since it is a vital wellspring of hierarchical development and also competitive advantage. From the examination it was discovered that transformation leadership persuades the employees to more prominent administration, and makes a more noteworthy feeling of achievement or fulfillment in their occupations; by diminishing reliance, untrustworthiness and empowering collaboration which general prompts accomplishing authoritative objectives and targets. en_US
