Abstract:
This thesis is being done to enhance the views of the firm’s performance which are being dominated by the warehouses & inventory. There are two parts, first one includes the impact of warehouses & second part includes the impact of inventory management. Both these parts are related to the firms supply chain performance. Firm performance is not only analyzed by the looking at the financial statements. As now the companies are getting more automated & global, so their ways of perceiving the firm’s performance. Now the companies are more customer centered which means that they have to adopt those things that their customer is fond of and willing to pay for that thing, Now, it can be termed as any extra value, any promotion, any internal or external working of the company & even it can be the firms inter & intro organization operations & activities. The research questions are addressed by analyzing firm-level empirical data from manufacturing firms operating in Finland. Data had been gathered from manufacturing & trading firms having operations in Islamabad & Rawalpindi. Moreover, the thesis would see all the factors, effects, causes, that are dominant in their way when are compared with firms’ supply chain performance.
